workshops & get-togethers
Whether it’s hanging around the studio, meeting like minded people or learning new skills, we welcome you at Studio Hear Hear!
The bright studio loft / urban jungle is based in Assendelft just outside of Amsterdam. It’s characterised by it’s high ceilings, white wooden beams and lots of plants. There’s a garden/terrace outside with a picknick table and view over a meadow filled with sheep. A perfect place for inspiring, educational afternoons and intimate get-togethers.
Slow down, create and inspire.
Join Rena in the studio during a handbuilding with clay workshop to create your own unique ceramic pieces. These are fun, introductory workshops to learn a cariety of ceramic making skills like pinching, coiling & slab building. It’s a perfect introduction to forming and working with clay and is suitable for beginners.
The workshop includes the use of clay, tools, materials for decorating and two firings. After the workshop your work will be fired, glazed, then fired again and send to you once finished. There is a four week turnaround for fired pieces, Rena will tell you all about the time consuming proces during the workshop.
We’ll begin with a welcome and a brief introduction to Studio Hear Hear. There will be music, snacks & drinks and a friendly atmosphere.
The cost of the basic workshop is €50,- per person. 10 places available.check available workshops

The idea of the get-togethers is to casually meet new people and hang around the studio. All you have to do is buy a ticket and bring a small requested item like seeds, cuttings or a plant to swap or a side dish to put on the table. It’s about contributing and sharing. We’ll take care of drinks and snacks (fresh juice, soda, chips, dips and/or maybe some pie..) Nothing fancy, just something nice and easy. Photographer Hanke Arkenbout described one of the get togethers as “a laid back vibe, nothing posh just good old fun”. That’s exactly what we are aiming for, to sit back, relax and enjoy each others company.Check upcoming get-togethers
